On a hot summer afternoon at the Lewis Monk Field the Bats defeated the Red Wings for the Churchill American Minor League Championship 7-3 behind the solid pitching of Eric Taitano (9k's)2 rbi's and Mikey Hunt (9k's)and 2 run double. Cameron Mackenzie made some great plays at catcher to anchor the pitching staff and added an rbi single. The Bats move on to the much anticipated Melrose City Series next week.
