Coaches, Volunteers & Helping out

Our league is run totally by volunteers. All are welcome to participate, and there are many ways to contribute to the league. Just a few ways to volunteer are:

• Coach or manage a team
• Help with field maintenance
• Work the concession stand
• Keep score
• Organize or help with Picture Day
• Organize or help with Slush Sunday

Our managers and coaches are chosen by the board. Major and Minor league managers are chosen each fall. To be a Major League manager, you must have coached at some level within the past two years. Federal, Coach Pitch and T-ball League managers are all chosen in the early spring.

Assistant coaches are chosen by the team manager. While there can be only two official assistant coaches, extra help is always appreciated by any team manager. Talk to your team manager to find the best way to help out.

All volunteers who have direct contact with children are required to fill out a volunteer registration form and agree to allow the league to perform a CORI background check.
