All Star Teams Churchill American sponsors a number of All Star teams, whose members are chosen from the regular season teams based on performance and skill. There is one team each for the Federal League, Minor League and Major Leagues. Each team consists of 12-14 players. The two lower league teams each play an All Star game against an All Star team from the Melrose National League on All Star Sunday in June. The Major League All Star team participates in a Home Run Derby against the National League on the same All Star Sunday. In addition, the Major League All Stars play in the Little League tournament in July which, with success, can ultimately lead to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in August. |
